Class Safety

Students are required to wear long-sleeved top, long pants, and firm leather work-shoes that fit well. Clothing must be made from natural fiber clothing (ie. cotton, wool, flannel, linen, alpaca, hemp); No Synthetic materials (ie. nylon, polyester, rayon, fleece, etc).

Students are required to wear safety glasses and hearing protections at all times in work areas.
Students are expected to bring their own safety glasses, although a few used pairs may be available for use in the shop. Foam earplugs are available at the shop, but students who need or prefer over-ear protection are expected to provide their own.

All other necessary tools and materials for the class will be provided for the students.
